It was a Friday evening when I received a mysterious invitation. 'Get ready for an adventure,' it said. I knew straight away that my hen party would be something special.
At the meeting point, an escape room awaited us. Its carefully staged setting drew us into another world: a creepy abandoned hotel, where we had to solve the mystery of murdered guests. Like detectives in a film, we followed the story, found hidden objects and uncovered secrets while the clock kept ticking.
Working together was essential. Each of us contributed, whether by solving a difficult puzzle or spotting a hidden clue. Opening the final door felt wonderful. We came out laughing and celebrating our success.
After a short breather, we moved on to laser tag. Wearing sensor vests and carrying taggers in a futuristic arena, we felt as though we had stepped into a science-fiction film. We split into teams, and the adrenaline rose as the game began.
Obstacles and hiding places made the arena even more interesting. Our vests lit up when we were tagged, and we had to react quickly. The tactics, suspense and action made it an intense experience.
For all the competition, the atmosphere was friendly and full of laughter. Winning hardly mattered: we were enjoying every moment.
We finished the evening in the welcoming sports bar, sharing food, drinks and stories about the day. We all had our own highlights, but agreed on one thing: this hen party was an adventure that brought us closer together.
Looking back, the escape room and laser tag were a great combination for our hen party. Puzzles, action and teamwork gave us shared memories and strengthened our friendships. More than a celebration before the wedding, it was a celebration of being together. For me, that was what mattered most.
