On a bright day in the summer school holidays, I headed to Alma Park in Gelsenkirchen to try the four-hour holiday unlimited-play offer. Europe's largest indoor leisure park had caught my interest, and I was looking forward to discovering the activities.
As soon as I arrived, I was drawn into the lively atmosphere. People were smiling and chatting excitedly, ready for a day of fun and adventure.
I started with laser tag. The fast-paced game brought an adrenaline rush and brought out my competitive side. Moving through the maze and trying to tag the other players was great fun.
Next came adventure golf. The mix of adventure and UV mini golf gave me a chance to test my accuracy in a distinctive setting. It was a welcome change of pace, with a little friendly competition.
Then I headed to the trampoline park. There was plenty of room to let off steam, and I loved the brief feeling of flying as I jumped into the air.
I finished with bubble football. Moving around in a giant inflatable bubble and trying to bounce my friends across the pitch was a completely new experience. It was funny, unusual and something I would recommend trying.
Alma Park gave me a memorable day of fun and adventure, with a mix of energetic and gentler activities. It was a great summer holiday outing, and I am looking forward to coming back to explore more.
